Third person arrested in connection with Stockton murder

(FOX40.COM) — Stockton police have arrested a third person in connection with an April 6 homicide near Wood Duck Circle and Quail Lakes Drive.

The latest arrest was made on Wednesday, police said, after the 19-year-old suspect was taken into custody for allegedly committing two robberies.

In April, officers responded to a report of a car accident at approximately 12:42 a.m. and found the victim in the driver’s seat with a gunshot wound, from which he later succumbed.

According to police, San Joaquin County Sheriff’s officers arrested the first suspect during a traffic stop on May 6.

An arrest warrant was issued for another suspect, who was then taken into custody by Long Beach Police on May 24.
