Feve Artisan Chocolatier and Dandelion Chocolate issue allergy warning over undeclared hazelnuts in chocolate-covered cocoa nibs

SAN FRANCISCO, June 25, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Feve Artisan Chocolatier and Dandelion Chocolate are voluntarily recalling a single lot number of Feve Artisan Chocolatier x Dandelion Chocolate Chocolate-Covered Cocoa Nibs because the product may contain undeclared hazelnuts. Individuals who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to hazelnuts are at risk of experiencing a severe or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

This product is a collaboration between the two companies and was created by Feve Artisan Chocolatier using Dandelion chocolate and was sold by Dandelion in their retail stores (in San Francisco and Las Vegas) and through the Dandelion Chocolate website (dandelionchocolate.com).

This recalled product is identified in the images which contain the following information:

• Label: Feve Artisan Chocolatier x Dandelion Chocolate Chocolate Covered Cacao Nibs

• Pack size: 4 oz.

• Batch code: FNDHI4C4

• Expiry date: 14.03.2025

• (identified by a small, white rectangular sticker on the bottom of the box)

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that a product containing hazelnuts was being sold in chocolate-covered packaging for cocoa nibs that did not disclose the presence of this allergen. This issue only affected a single batch. No other lottery codes, Feve Artisan Chocolatier or Dandelion Chocolate products are affected by this promotion. No illnesses were reported.
