‘HOME RUN KING’ follows the life of Atlanta baseball giant Hank Aaron – WABE

Award-winning veteran journalist Dan Schlossberg says Hank Aaron has been his hero since 1957.

He said the great baseball player was kind, strove to set an example for others and illuminated the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

On Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Schlossberg spoke with host Rose Scott about his new book, “HOME RUN KING: The Remarkable Record of Hank Aaron.” The book follows Aaron’s life from the segregated South to the professional baseball league.
