Leopard attack: Leopard that attacked two people found dead | Navi Mumbai News

Navi Mumbai: An injured male leopard was found dead in Sakharpa village in Ratnagiri district on Saturday afternoon. The leopard had earlier attacked two persons. Locals came to know about its death after a foul smell spread in the area. The leopard had an injury on its right paw. The animal had first attacked a woman who was cleaning a buffalo pen where the big cat was hiding. She suffered minor injuries. In the second attack, the leopard attacked a worker in an under-construction house. It suffered an injury on its head and two of its fingers were broken. An official said, “The postmortem conducted by Dr Anandrao Kadam revealed that the leopard had died of starvation and was around 4 years old.” Umesh K Parida
