De Soto man injured in crash in Franklin County on May 6 | Accidents

A De Soto man was injured in a pickup truck crash in Franklin County north of Beaufort on Monday afternoon, May 6, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

At 2:27 p.m., Daniel B. Nitsch, 44, was driving a 2023 Western Star 47X southbound on the highway. 185, south of Old State Road, when he reportedly lost control of the truck and it went into a ditch, left the road and struck a utility pole, the report said.

Nitsch suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital Washington by Gerald Ambulance, the report said.

According to the report, Nitsch was wearing a seatbelt and the truck was totaled.
