Krishna Vemulapalli is accused of sexually abusing a teenage patient

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – An Albuquerque therapist is accused of sexually abusing a teenage patient. According to a criminal complaint, 33-year-old Krishan Vemulapalli had been seeing the patient for four years but began giving her “physical attention” last year.

According to investigators, she learned about sexual assault and harassment in a health class and began recording the encounters with Vemulapalli on her Apple Watch. He is now accused of three counts of criminal sexual contact with minors and intimidation of witnesses.
