Bleeding Uber driver appears in court with bruises after being beaten by angry father ‘who caught him raping his drunken daughter in the car’

A seriously injured Uber driver has appeared in court after being beaten by an angry father who allegedly caught him raping his drunken daughter in a car.

Ahmed Ali, 58, had injuries to his face and bandages on both hands when he appeared in a Washington state courtroom on Monday.

Ali, himself a father of five children, is accused of kidnapping a woman he picked up from a bar on Saturday night when she was too drunk to walk home alone.

According to police, Ali did not drive her home but took her to a remote location near the Nisqually River in Olympia, where he sexually assaulted her in the back seat of the car.

Before Ali allegedly launched the attack, he manipulated the Uber app to indicate that the vehicle handover was complete.

He was caught by the alleged victim’s father, who became worried while waiting for his daughter to return home and therefore tracked her phone to the riverbank location.

He and other relatives searched for her and found her naked in the back seat of Ali’s car. The driver hastily pulled up his pants and climbed into the front of the car.

The victim’s angry relatives responded by attacking Ali and firing two shots. Ali was seriously injured and tried to escape, but was later arrested by authorities.
