Teenager shot while visiting friends in South Georgia – WSB-TV Channel 2

SYLVESTER, Ga. – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is searching for a 14-year-old accused of shooting a 16-year-old over the weekend.

Officials say 14-year-old Kortezz Thomas shot and killed 16-year-old Ke’Asia Young near a home on Shipp Lane in Sylvester on Saturday night.

According to the GBI, Young was visiting some friends at the time of the shooting.

The exact circumstances that led to the shooting remain unclear.

The GBI has obtained arrest warrants for Thomas and agents are still searching for him.
