Suzi Jones and Ckayzia McClellan arrested after shooting in Sacramento

A minor and several men were injured in the shooting, but their lives were not in danger.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Two people were arrested after a shooting in Sacramento in May left three people injured.

According to Sacramento PoliceThey are 18-year-old Suzi Jones and 21-year-old Ckayzia McClellan, both from Sacramento.

The couple were charged with suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

The arrest is in connection with a shooting that occurred on May 25 in the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Upon arrival, officers found a minor with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Two men were later taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

The background to the shooting is not yet known.
