One dead after plane crash in the town of Elbridge

SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) — On June 15, at approximately 7 p.m., New York State Police responded to a fatal crash on Crossett Road in the Town of Elbridge.

A 53-year-old man was driving on Crossett Road when he lost control of his car, veered off the left side of the road and into a ditch in a driveway, causing the car to be thrown into the air.

The car rolled several times and came to a stop. The driver, identified as Patrick J. Sheehan, was pronounced dead at the scene.

State police were assisted at the scene by Jordan Ambulance and the fire department. The investigation is ongoing.
