Police identify a man who was shot and killed in Southeast D.C

WASHINGTON (DC News now) – The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said it is investigating a fatal shooting in Southeast D.C

Police said they responded to a report of a shooting in the 3400 block of 25th St. around 2 p.m. Tuesday.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who had been shot. He died there.

The man was identified as 42-year-old Tremaine Nicholson, who police say has no fixed address.
