Eskom suspends services in Khayelitsha due to crime

Due to ongoing criminal activities in the area, Eskom has suspended supplies to parts of Khayelitsha.

Khayelitsha came into the spotlight this week after a mass shooting at a local hair salon left four people, including three young children, dead.

Eskom announced on Tuesday that it had temporarily suspended its services to eNdlovini, south of Khayelitsha, following an attack on its team by armed men on Sunday.
