Atlanta Botanic Garden’s New Living Plant Sculpture Exhibit Featured in ‘Alice’s Wonderland Returns’ – WABE

An adventure through a wonderland of living, growing plants awaits visitors this summer at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

The “Imaginary Worlds: Alice’s Return to Wonderland” exhibition brings back the much-loved experience of the characters and settings from the classic story of “Alice in Wonderland,” recreated in extravagant plant sculptures alive, with some new items joining the exhibitions this year. The sculptures will be visible from May 11 – September 15.

“City Lights” host Lois Reitzses spoke about the exhibit with Mary Pat Matheson, president and CEO of the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and Jim Smith, the garden’s senior director of horticulture.
