The reconstruction project CSAH 5, 25 begins on Monday

OLMSTED COUNTY, Minn. (KTTC) – County State Aid Highways 5 and 25 south of Byron will be closed for construction starting Monday.

Workers will remove pavement, improve drainage and widen existing shoulders and ditches.

The section of road marked in red below is closed until the temporary winter closure on November 15th. The diversion route marked in purple can be found here.

Construction work will begin again in the spring.

Residents will have access to their property throughout the project.
