Jeremy Renner “almost died” after a snowplow accident, says co-star

Mr. Renner said knowing he had “a lot to fight for” helped him survive the accident.

American actor Jeremy Renner, who is on the road to recovery after a fatal accident in January 2023, announced a few months ago that he is doing better after a 90 percent recovery from the snowplow accident. Now his co-star has claimed that the actor has technically died following the unfortunate event. Michael Beach, the co-star of Mr. Renner’s “Mayor of Kingstown,” said in a new interview that the actor “actually died,” a detail he “didn’t know until he told me.”

“Jeremy is a warhorse, man. He came back. And he says he’s not sure what it would be like. But he was ready. And he says every week he feels stronger and stronger,” he said The direct one. The actor explained that The Hurt Locker actor’s recovery was so thorough that there was “no interruption due to his physical abilities.”

“He’s there and doing it. He is amazing. Yeah, he’s a great guy, man. And he’s really tough,” Mr. Beach added. He said the cast and crew of “Mayor of Kingstown” were given “a unique perspective on the story of how Jeremy Renner was run over by a snowplow,” as both the Marvel franchise actor and his nephew are on the series helped when the accident occurred. “They’re not afraid to tell you what was going on, how they were feeling and all that,” Mr Beach added.

In January of this year in an open conversation with CNNThe “Hawkeye” actor said knowing he “has a lot to fight for” helped him survive the accident. Mr. Renner was in critical condition after breaking more than 30 bones after being run over by his snow plow.

“I’m just so blessed that I’ve had so many things to live for, I have a huge family, a 10-year-old daughter,” he told the media outlet. Mr. Jenner gave himself only one option: “Get healthy.” “I would have disappointed and really messed up a lot of people’s lives if I had died,” the actor said.

Mr Renner added: “I’m pretty stubborn too, there’s a lot to fight for and recovery has been a one-way street for me and my recovery.”

The 52-year-old was operating the snow plow on his property in Nevada to free his nephew’s car from deep snow. According to officials, Mr. Renner exited the snowplow without applying the parking brake when the machine, which was traveling on rails, began to “skid sideways.”

Mr Renner was flown to hospital by helicopter and later uploaded a selfie from there showing severe bruising to his face. According to officials, there was no evidence of alcohol or drug use before the accident.
