DOTD announces emergency closure of LA 549 in Union Parish

MONROE, Louisiana (KNOE) – A section of LA 549 in Union Parish is closed until further notice.

The closure is located about three kilometers north of the intersection with LA 348.

According to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, the closure is to replace a cross-drainage pipe that is compromising the integrity of the roadway.

There is currently no reopening date.
