Man dies after being thrown from motorcycle on Tulane Avenue

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man was killed Saturday, June 1, when he was thrown from his motorcycle on Tulane Avenue.

New Orleans police reported the accident occurred around 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Tulane and S. Claiborne Avenue.

The man was riding south on Tulane when he struck the median and then a traffic sign. He was thrown from his bike and landed on the roadway.

His death was pronounced at the scene.
