Aston Martin has been fined for the Stroll Imola incident in FP3

Aston Martin was fined €100 by Emilia Romagna Grand Prix stewards after Lance Stroll was speeding in the pit lane.

The limit in effect at Imola for the weekend is 80km/h – 49.70mph, with the Canadian clocked at 80.1km/h – 49.77mph 43 minutes into the session.

For exceeding the limit, Aston was fined for violating Article 34.7 of the sporting regulations.

On Friday, Red Bull’s Sergio Perez received a €1,000 fine from his team for exceeding the limit by 8.9 km/h.

Stroll finished the session in ninth place after setting his time on the hard tires as his teammate Fernando Alonso retired after a rare mistake at Turn 18.
