State police said a paramedic was attacked while tending to a man who was reportedly passed out in the break room of a Dollar General store in North Union Township, Fayette County. The incident occurred shortly after 12:30 p.m. on May 4th. Eric Parker, 24, of Uniontown, allegedly passed out in the break room and physically assaulted a paramedic who was on scene to render aid, according to a news release. Both Parker and the victim were taken to the hospital for treatment. Parker’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 15.

NORTH UNION TOWNSHIP, Pa. –

State police said a paramedic was attacked while treating a man who was reportedly passed out in the break room of a Dollar General store in North Union Township, Fayette County.

The incident occurred on May 4 just after 12:30 p.m.

According to a news release, police said Eric Parker, 24, of Uniontown, passed out in the break room and physically assaulted a paramedic who was on scene to render aid.

Both Parker and the victim were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Parker has a preliminary hearing scheduled for May 15.
