Bar fight leads to fatal shooting, Fort Worth police say – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

Police are searching for a suspect after an altercation at a Fort Worth bar escalated into a shooting that left one man dead early Sunday morning.

According to Fort Worth police, officers were called to the 3200 block of N. Main Street around 5:45 a.m. following reports of a shooting.

When police arrived at El Gallito Bar, they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment but did not survive his injuries.

Homicide detectives said a verbal and physical altercation occurred inside the bar. As the agitators were being led out, someone pulled out a pistol and fired at least once, hitting the victim.

The suspected shooter fled the scene in an unknown direction, police said.
