Platteville woman injured after semi-trailer crash | 97 Seven Country WGLR – The best country selection in the three states

Just after 12 noon on Thursday, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office was notified of an accident involving a semi-truck and a car on Highway 151 at the intersection with Hill Climb Road in Paris Township. After investigation, it was determined that 77-Year old Elaine Shanley of Platteville, was Drive Head east on Hill Climb Road And tried to cross the southbound lanes of Highway 151. Shanley drove on Highway 151 directly into the path of a southbound semi-trailer with a trailer that was 59 years old Henry Chamberlain from Fort Atkinson. Chamberlain braked and avoided, but could not avoid a collision with Shanley’s vehicle. Shanley’s vehicle was heavily damaged and the tractor-trailer was moderately damaged; both were towed. The tractor-trailer driver was not injured in the accident. Shanley was taken by ambulance to Southwest Health Center in Platteville. And was later taken to a Madison-area hospital to treat possible additional serious injuries.rash remains examined.
