Carthage police are searching for a missing woman

CARTHAGE, Missouri – The Carthage Police Department (CPD) is searching for a woman who was last seen at Walmart in the early morning hours of May 6th.

According to a Facebook post from CPD, 29-year-old Marissa Carlson was last seen at the Walmart in Carthage around 4 a.m.

Carlson is 1.70 meters tall and weighs around 75 kilograms. She has brown hair and green eyes and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue fluffy jacket.

CPD said Carlson also had burn marks on both forearms, a feather tattoo on her lower back and a medical symbol on her left hip. Carlson may also have Asperger’s syndrome, but is undiagnosed and does not take medication.

Anyone with information on Carlson’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact CPD at 417-237-7200.
