Search for suspect in domestic violence case in Tracy continues

TRACY – Tracy police are searching for a suspect who fled after a domestic violence incident Thursday night.

Tracy Police responded to the call at Winston Court and Colony Drive shortly before 9 p.m.

The victims of the incident were taken to hospital and later released, police said.

Based on witness statements, police said the suspect, 41-year-old Jose Rodriguez-Remigio, fled and barricaded himself in a nearby house.

The Tracy Police Department Crisis Intervention Unit arrived on scene to take over the incident.

But after obtaining a search warrant, Rodriguez-Remigio fled through the back of the property before officers arrived.

Rodriguez-Remigio is wanted for domestic violence and child endangerment. He is described as Hispanic, 5’9″ tall, 185 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
