FanDuel and BetMGM suspend US presidential betting markets in Canada

Betting on the US presidential election is not possible in the United States and has never been possible since sports betting was legalized in the United States.

However, there are also opportunities to bet on the next US president in other countries. This includes a market that FanDuel had in Canada until recently.

FanDuel Canada has decided to suspend its US presidential markets following the attempted assassination of presidential candidate Donald Trump on Saturday.

“In light of recent events, FanDuel has made the decision to suspend its U.S. election markets,” FanDuel Canada said in a statement.
