Investigations into East Nashville shooting ongoing

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Detectives with the Metro Nashville Police Department are investigating a shooting Tuesday morning in East Nashville.

At around 7:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Burns Street.

Neighbors reported hearing several gunshots in the area.

According to MNPD, one person was taken to the hospital.
