Crocodile attack: Man attacked twice by crocodile in same river | News from Vadodara

Vadodara: Three years ago, he narrowly escaped death when a crocodile attacked him in the Orsang river in Dabhoi taluka of Vadodara. A huge crocodile had grabbed Pravin Tadvi’s leg in 2021 and tried to drag him away. But his wife Takhat showed exemplary courage and jumped into the river to scare away the crocodile and saved him at the last moment. This incident shocked Tadvi, a resident of Bhalodra village, who became more alert and stayed as far away from the river as possible. But three days ago, he entered the Orsang river near Fulvadi village to save his goats and was again attacked by a crocodile. This time, the 45-year-old was not so lucky. The reptile dragged him into deep water. The crocodile swam around with Tadvi’s body in its mouth for quite some time before firefighters fished out the body after hours of effort.
