Driver flees after accident in Chicora – ButlerRadio.com

A section of Route 68 in Chicora was closed after an accident last night.

At around 11 p.m., Butler County Emergency Services received a call about an accident in the 300 block of North Main Street. Dispatchers reported that a vehicle had driven into a front yard.

When emergency crews arrived on scene, they closed the westbound lane of Main Street, but when emergency services were called to assist the driver, they found that the driver of the car had fled the scene.

The westbound lane was closed for about an hour while the clearing work was taking place.
