Georgia Pecan Growers partners with YOM Ice Cream to make pecan pops

The Georgia Pecan Growers Association has teamed up with YOM Ice Cream for an all-new push pop flavor.

The new flavor is Georgia Butterscotch Pecan, a creamy and rich flavor that should be delicious in the summer heat. The flavor will be available at various pop-ups around the city from July 3 to 7.

“Georgia pecans are popular in Atlanta, but they are not always easy to find,” Mary Bruorton, executive director of the Georgia Pecan Growers Association, said in a press release. “Through this partnership, we will expand our presence in specialty retail stores across the city. »

Atlanta residents can find free push pops at the following locations, while supplies last.

  • July 3, Grant Park Market, noon to 2 p.m.
  • July 4, B Side, Decatur, noon to 2 p.m.
  • July 5, Candler Market, noon to 2 p.m.
  • July 6, Peachtree Road Farmers Market, 8:30 a.m. to noon
  • July 6, Piedmont Park Green Market, 9 a.m. to noon
  • July 7, Atlanta Botanical Garden, noon to 2 p.m.
