2 men in custody after teen shot and killed in north Houston apartment, HPD says

HOUSTON (KIAH) — Two people are in custody after a fatal shooting in north Houston Thursday morning during a possible home invasion.

Houston police officers responded to a call in the 14100 block of West Gulf Bank Road, where they found a man, possibly in his late teens, suffering from a gunshot wound. He died at the scene.

Investigators said two adults were outside an apartment when the victim walked past them without speaking. The two men then forced the victim to leave the residence.

An argument broke out shortly before one of the men, possibly the homeowner, shot the victim in the chest, police said.

Both adults are cooperating with investigators on scene.
