Limestone County Coroner Reports One Dead in Lucas Ferry Road Accident

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Alabama (WHNT) – One person is dead and two are injured following a crash Thursday afternoon, according to the Limestone County Corner.

Coroner Mike West said the two-vehicle crash occurred around 12:34 p.m. at the intersection of Lucas Ferry Road and Malone Road in Limestone County.

He said one person was taken to Athens Hospital after the accident, where an emergency medical technician pronounced them dead. West said two other patients were taken to Huntsville Hospital for further treatment.

The coroner said ALEA is investigating the accident.
