Kamila Tobias goes on offense for Oak Lawn Girls Soccer

OAK LAWN, IL – In her third year on the Oak Lawn Community High School varsity girls soccer team, Kamila Tobias is emerging as a leader. She brings a strong performance to the offensive attack. Tobias leads the team with seven assists and is the Spartans’ second-leading scorer. He is developing into a key player.

“Since last season, she has moved from defense and midfield to forward, honing her skills and showing tremendous growth each season,” said OLCHS head coach John Faro. “Her desire to become a well-rounded soccer player is clear. She shows real passion for the game and leads by example.”

Tobias is a unique talent. Aside from just racking up goals and assists, she does a lot more for Oak Lawn.

“Kami plays football all year round. “She is left-footed (which is rare), skilled and unselfish, as evidenced by her team-leading assists, and is fun to watch,” Faro said. “Even as a full-time soccer player, she runs for the girls track team whenever she can. She is passionate and we all look forward to seeing what heights she can reach.”
