2 men dead in car with apparent gunshot wounds on south side of city

CHICAGO – According to preliminary investigations by Chicago police, two men were found dead in a car on the city’s south side Sunday morning, apparently with gunshot wounds.

According to police, two unidentified adult men were found unconscious in a Jeep Cherokee at 12300 South Halsted Street around 8:30 a.m. on Sunday with apparent gunshot wounds throughout their bodies. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the circumstances of the incident are currently being investigated by Area Two detectives.
