“I am in the hospital now and have to do chemotherapy much sooner than I expected,” he told his followers on Instagram at the time.

“The last time I went through this, it almost killed me and scared the hell out of me. I have no choice but to do the chemotherapy and make sure this time I don’t get sick during the chemotherapy cycles.”

He later added: “I am here and I am not giving up, not now or ever. I am not ready to leave this earth without giving my loved ones a good life before I leave this body.”

Hadley stated in his GoFundMe campaign that he had been “incapacitated” while receiving “aggressive treatment” for his illness.
