A Bronx man is in custody in Westchester County after being arrested for theft. Mamaroneck police received reports that someone broke into a home on South Barry Avenue and stole a bicycle. Police arrested Yaser Garcia-Ramirez shortly afterward and recovered the bike. Police say Garcia-Ramirez was caught with a driver’s license, numerous checks, a debit card and a vehicle that was stolen earlier that same day in Newark, New Jersey. He faces several charges, including burglary and criminal possession of stolen property. He is being held in the county jail without bail.

Two Newburgh men are in custody on drug and weapons charges. New York State Police stopped a car on South Street in Newburgh that was violating state law. Officers found LSD, cannabis, a loaded ghost gun and ammunition. The driver, 19-year-old Adem Al-Bino, and the passenger, 20-year-old Yael Garcia, were arrested.
