Old Fourth Ward: Explore one of Atlanta’s oldest neighborhoods

From the location:

About this event

Created as one of five wards in the 1850s as Atlanta experienced rapid growth, the Old Fourth Ward is the only neighborhood whose name still refers to the original ward system. Its diverse population over the centuries has made it ground zero for the events and personalities that have shaped the nation. We will travel through the southernmost portion of O4W, visiting sites such as the historic Howard Middle School, the John Wesley Dobbs House, the MLK Jr. Birthplace, the Wigwam Condos, the Atlanta Beltline, and much more. Moreover. Meet on the Condesa Coffee terrace.
