Sherwood Island State Park reopens after police investigation

WESTPORT, Connecticut (WTNH) – Sherwood Island State Park in Westport was closed Tuesday morning due to a police investigation.

DEEP posted on X that the park was closed around 7:15 a.m. due to the investigation. No further information has been released at this time.

At around 9 a.m., DEEP announced that the park was reopened.
