Bend Police Department community service officers help 10 ducklings trapped in a sewer

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) – Helping people is the daily job of Bend Police Department social workers. But sometimes they also help animals in need, like a flock of 10 ducklings trapped in a sewer.

Two CSOs responded on Thursday to the report that the little ducklings needed help, the department said in a Facebook post on Friday.

“They were able to fish them all out and reunite them with their mother,” the department said.

The Bend Police Department also thanked the Bend Building Department for its assistance.
