The highway is closed if there is an accident involving multiple vehicles. 77 in Bishop on Saturday

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – A serious early morning crash shut down portions of U.S. Highway 77 near Bishop.

Around 5 a.m., Bishop police and the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office responded to a multi-vehicle crash, leaving debris and debris scattered on the highway between County Road 12 and Farm-to-Market Road 70.

No life-threatening injuries were reported.

DPS continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
