Man found dead, car crashed into mobile home

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — According to Mobile Police, at approximately 3:34 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, officers responded to the 1600 block of Darwood Drive in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle leaning against a residence and a male victim deceased in the front yard.

The name of the deceased will be released after next of kin are notified. This is an active investigation and to protect the integrity of this case, no further details will be released at this time.
