1 was arrested after “multiple thefts” in the Mt. Juliet neighborhood of Tennessee

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) – Mt. Juliet Police have arrested a person accused of being involved in “multiple thefts.”

According to officials, a citizen alerted officers to the suspect, who had allegedly been breaking into unlocked vehicles and going through several mailboxes in the Willoughby Station neighborhood.


Authorities reported that the person – who was not identified – was found with “items consistent with multiple thefts as he was carrying two backpacks.”

In a social media post, police praised residents for reporting the incident and urged them to report any suspicious activity.

“The reports and vigilance of MJ residents are making a significant difference in our ability to maintain a safe community. We encourage everyone to continue to report suspicious activity, especially during the night/very early morning hours, which are a critical time for car burglars. Remember, securing your vehicles and removing valuables can significantly prevent thefts.”

It remains unclear what the person stole and what charges they are currently facing.
