Two found dead on I-55 South in Copiah County

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigations is investigating after two people were found dead on I-55 South in Copiah County. WAPT first learned of the incident when the Mississippi Department of Transportation issued an alert that the agency would temporarily close traffic. MDOT reported a 4-hour delay just outside Gallman. MBI says they were first notified at 3 a.m. Because this is an ongoing investigation, MBI says no further comment will be made.
