Car accident leads to destroyed house in Madisonville

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A driver is taken to the hospital after she lost control of her car with a 2-year-old passenger and crashed into a house.

According to a press release, Debra Williams was driving past the Hospital Drive intersection, lost control of her vehicle and went off the runway just before the bridge at North Main Street.

Authorities say Williams’ front bumper struck the back porch of a home on Hanson Street. They say no one inside the home was injured, including the passenger in the car.

According to MPD, Williams was taken to the hospital and with the help of the Madisonville Fire Department, the car was recovered without further damage to the house.
