18 Former Atlanta Braves Players to Serve as 2025 MLB All-Star Ambassadors

ATLANTA, Ga. (WSAV) – The Atlanta Braves have announced 18 alumni who will serve as 2025 All-Star ambassadors through next year’s game.

These former Braves All-Stars will participate in a parade through The Battery Atlanta at 6:15 p.m. on Monday, July 22, as part of the 2025 All-Star Game Opening Celebration presented by Mastercard.

The Braves invite all fans to gather on Battery Avenue to watch the parade before the Braves take on the Cincinnati Reds.

The following former Braves will serve as All-Star ambassadors:

Paul Byrd Leo Mazzone
Johnny Estrada Dale Murphy
Glenn Hubbard Terry Pendleton
Tim Hudson Gerald Perry
Brian Jordan Ron Reed
Andrew Jones John Smoltz
Jair Jurrjens Jonny Venters
Ryan Klesko Mark Wohlers

Monday’s celebration will feature a special pre-game ceremony featuring the introduction of All-Star ambassadors and the unveiling of the 2025 MLB All-Star Game logo. The event will be kicked off by Braves legend and former MLB All-Star Chipper Jones, who will throw out the first pitch.

After the game, fans leaving the stadium will receive an exclusive 2025 MLB All-Star Game logo poster presented by Mastercard.
