Accident in northern Phoenix leaves one dead and one injured

The accident occurred shortly before 5 a.m. on Wednesday. The cause is still being investigated.

PHOENIX — One man is dead and another person is hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash at 12th Street and Butler Drive in north Phoenix, city police said.

According to police, the accident occurred on Wednesday at around 4:46 a.m. Two men were taken to hospital, where one later succumbed to his injuries.

Police have closed 12th Street at Butler Drive for the investigation. The cause of the accident is currently unknown and police have not released the identities of the two victims.
