Albany man arrested for suspected possession of crystal meth

ALBANY, NY (NEWS10) — The Albany County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of an Albany man following a traffic stop. Samuel Guarino, 37, is accused of multiple drug offenses.

Officers said they conducted the traffic stop in Albany around 2:50 p.m. Monday when Guarino, a passenger in the car, was found with crystal meth packaged for sale. The sheriff’s office also said there was an Albany Police warrant out for Guarino’s arrest.

Guarino was taken to the Albany County Correctional Facility and held there while he awaits arraignment. His arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday.
