Hit-and-run driver ‘intentionally’ rams victim in road rage incident in Fair Lawn (evolving)

The victim was a passenger in another vehicle and had gotten out to talk to the driver of the other vehicle when he was hit by the man on Berdan Avenue, Loving said after leaving the scene. Police pursued the suspect to his home less than a mile away, Loving said.

The victim was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, and the District Attorney’s Fatal Accident Investigation Unit responded “due to the severity of the victim’s injuries and the nature of the accident, it was a hit-and-run,” Loving reports.
