1 dead in single-car crash in Clermont County

One person has died after a single-car crash in Clermont County Monday night, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.Troopers say the crash happened just before 7:30 am on Bootjack Corner Road in Williamsburg Township.Officials say a 2008 Dodge Charger, driven by 49-year-old Christopher Riley Sr., of Goshen, was traveling southeast on Bootjack Corner Rd. Authorities say the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole. Troopers say the car overturned several times before coming to a final rest.Troopers say Riley sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.Riley was not wearing his seatbelt at the time, troopers say.OSHP says they were assisted at the scene by the Clermont County Sheriff’s Department and Williamsburg Township Fire personnel.
