A look at the Orange County Police Department’s military weapons depot

Semi-automatic rifles, armored vehicles, stun grenades and tear gas grenades, explosive devices, pepper spray and beanbag guns.

These are some of the weapons and equipment available to the various local police departments in Orange County.

And every year, residents get a glimpse into their local police department’s military arsenal under a law set to take effect in 2022 that requires law enforcement agencies across the state to disclose weapons deemed by state officials to be of “military value.”
