Pedestrian killed in Louisville crash – Boulder Daily Camera

According to police, a pedestrian was hit and killed by a driver in Louisville on Monday afternoon.

In a post on X, Louisville police said the accident occurred at 5:45 p.m. near the intersection of Sagebrush and Via Appia.

Police did not release any information about the pedestrian. The identity will be released by the Boulder County Coroner’s Office once next of kin have been notified.

The driver remained on site and cooperated with the police.

No information has been released about the cause or nature of the accident and no charges have been filed.

“The Louisville Police Department extends its deepest concern and condolences to all victims of this tragic accident,” Louisville Police wrote in a statement.

The Via Appia was closed for about two hours while the accident was being investigated.
