Triple shooting leaves one dead and two injured in Klondike neighborhood

According to Louisville Metro Police, a three-person shooting in the Klondike neighborhood late Saturday night left a teenager dead and two others injured. At around 11:30 p.m., officers from LMPD’s 6th Division were called to the 6500 block of Six Mile Lane. When they arrived, they found two teenagers shot in the parking lot. Both victims were taken to UofL Hospital. One of the teens died at the hospital, and the second is in critical condition. A short time later, a third victim, also a teenager, was discovered on King’s Court in Saint Matthews. Police say he was also shot at the scene on Six Mile Lane, but left the location at some point. His injuries were described as non-life-threatening. He was also taken to UofL Hospital for treatment and is currently in stable condition. LMPD’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.
